Body Type and Dress Style: Knowing your body type


The easiest way to find out your body type is to stand in front of a mirror in your bare essentials and view your body as a whole.  Stand with your feet together and chalk out your body structure in your mind.  You should be able to visualize your body down from below your neck, taking the shape of your chest, hips and thighs into consideration.  Your body shape will consist of the outline of your upper torso and almost half of your lower torso till your thighs.  Compare this with the common body types we present here as a reference and find the closest match to your own body type.

  • Wide shoulders
  • Medium to heavy bust size
  • Narrow hips
